This really is significant. This is the biggest drop in a number of years. The prices are testing a key support number, $129 a barrel. If it breaks down below $129 and then below $125 a barrel, we are likely to see prices in the $115 to $120 a barrel sometime next week.

A month ago I said President Bush should take the lead in allowing domestic oil exploration off the US coastal waters. Today he did just that.
Today, President Bush signed an executive order reversing one signed by his father and extended by Bill Clinton prohibiting oil exploration and recovery in domestic waters off the US coasts.

Today, President Bush rightly chastised Congress for preventing us from using our own natural resources.
But, there is more he can do.
