Will the Imputed Income Concept Return?
In 1993, a novel approach to taxation was devised and initial work to get legislation proposed to enact it was started. The expectation was by 1997 the legislation would be in place and a new source of tax revenue would be available. That plan was derailed with the election in November of 1994.
