I have been lurking and posting at various forums looking for a very specific person.

The person I was looking for is…

• New to investing
• Average resources
• Little (preferably ZERO) consumer debt
• Holds a job
• Does not see a job as something for losers
• Not afraid of hard work
• Willing to learn
• Ethical beyond question
• A self-starter and self-motivator
• Able to complete tasks with little or no supervision

I’m really happy to say this person made first contact with me this past Monday and today we have completed the background discussions. I am going to closely mentor this person. It is almost a coaching scenario but since they are not paying anything for the help, I don’t call it coaching.

There are some basic rules. I am not going to help them in any financial way. I am not going to grease the skids and get them funding they would not otherwise see. What I am going to do is help them start a real live investing business.

I am also adding them as a blogger here on this blog. Part of their “payment” for my help is to blog about their experience here. They can give as much or as little detail as they desire. They can come out or remain anonymous on this blog. Since they are also joining the Field Guide the members there will know who they are. But, beyond that it is within their control.

They already have their first “homework” assignment to do this weekend.
