DOW Closes above 12,000 for the First Time in History! (And it couldn’t have happened on a better day.)

Today the Dow Jones Industrials closed above 12,000. Quite a milestone considering where it was just after the tech boom a few years ago.
But, it happened on the anniversary of Black Monday 1987 when the DOW dropped to below 1800 and the gloom and doom types were heralding the on-set of a world wide depression.
